Galvanized round rods are geometrically shaped objects made of iron or materials of certain strength and toughness by rolling, extrusion, casting, and hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion profile surface processes. Hot-dip galvanized round steel is produced by an advanced galvanizing process. Its surface is bright and durable.

Galvanizing is the process of adding a zinc coating to steel or iron. Since zinc acts as a sacrificial coating, it protects the steel or iron beneath, thereby extending the life of the metal part. But galvanizing is a complex process that can be accomplished in a variety of ways. There are different forms of galvanizing, including hot dip galvanizing and hot diffusion galvanizing, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.

Applications and Advantages


Galvanized steel is used wherever rust protection is needed or desired to create durable, long-lasting products and structures. Quick fix options to prevent rusting, such as paint or grease and oil coatings, are often unreliable and only provide short-term corrosion protection that requires ongoing maintenance. Galvanized materials require less maintenance, are less expensive to repair, have a longer life expectancy than uncoated steel, and have a lower initial cost than other coating options. (Semi-smooth, galvanized) Excellent corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor use or exposed environments.
